Enrichment is a unique session which has been set up and embedded in the Southview Curriculum right across the school. The session takes place on a weekly basis and follows a holistic approach providing each pupil with the opportunity to develop their own set of skills to enhance their physical, social and mental wellbeing. Depending on their age and ability, Pupils may follow individual programmes of exercises and stretches, practise fine motor skills and hand- eye coordination techniques, wheelchair and walking skills, learn self-care and independence routines , take part in social activities, group games, problem solving and therapeutic exercises. Each class sets up and runs their own activities according to the individual needs of the group.
